Carmelia Haven Resort Thekkady, Thekkady

Our stay at the resort had its ups and downs. While the location amidst beautiful tea plantations was simply stunning and the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, the overall experience was marred by a few letdowns. The pool area left much to be desired, and our expectations for dining were not fully met, particularly during breakfast. It feels like it could use some improvements to match the price we paid.

My stay at the resort was a mix of wonderful experiences and some disappointments. The location is utterly serene, tucked away in nature, and the hiking through the resort is truly special. However, the activities offered were quite limited, and the pool was not as clean as I had hoped. Overall, I enjoyed my time, but I do think they could improve on a few aspects.

I had an amazing stay at this resort, surrounded by beautiful nature and a cool breeze thanks to the plantations nearby. The staff was incredibly friendly and made my experience even better, especially the chefs who prepared exceptional meals. However, the swimming pool was out of order during my visit, which was a bit disappointing, but they compensated us with a fantastic sightseeing trip. Overall, it was a delightful retreat, and I can't wait to return in winter.

We had a fantastic stay at Carmelia Haven, enjoying the stunning nature and warm hospitality from the staff. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with beautiful wooden floors, but the dining experience was truly a highlight with delicious food. The little excursions, like the jeep ride to the cardamom estate, made it all the more special. The only downside was that the outdoor activities could be better organized and more information available upon arrival.
